When Hope Hicks, communication director in Trump’s team, bid farewell to the White House, Trump wanted to give her a proper farewell, as per Trump’s style, obviously, in front of the cameras. Sadly, Trump has once again lost one of his most trusted aides, communication director, Hope Hicks, nicknamed “The Trump Whisperer.”
She is now the fourth person to depart as White House Communications Director after Michael Dubke, Sean Spicer and Anthony Scaramucci.
Hope Hicks has been working much before Trump’s could become president, right from his presidential campaign days to handling press operations in 2015.
She’s been a former Ralph Lauren fashion model and a public relations pro to Trump’s daughter Ivanka without any political background.
After the departure of former communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, who served just 11 days, Hope Hicks was chosen to fulfill the task.
She was among the top 19 highest paid White House staffers last year while working as an assistant to the president and director of strategic communications.
After 197 days, now Hope Hicks announced her resignation after she refused to answer lawmakers, investigating whether the Trump’s campaign schemed with Russian agents during the 2016 presidential election.
Even after announcing on February 28, she continued with her duties and now finally it was time to say goodbye to her political family. So, Trump called for a staged farewell ceremony.
While on her way to the office, before the embarrassing incident, Hicks was photographed standing outside her Washington, D.C. apartment.
The cameras were all over to capture Hope Hicks last moments with her former boss Trump. Well, Trump’s made it more memorable, by planting an embarrassing goodbye kiss on her cheeks, while holding on to her hands.
Well, it didn’t end here, Trump tried another embarrassing goodbye kiss for the second time, but Hope Hicks just walked away and let go off of Trump’s hands.
As per reports, Trump’s would consider Hope Hicks like a daughter, even though many were confused with that embarrassing goodbye kiss.
Few eagle-eyed Twitter users pointed out that Hicks wiped her hand on her blazer immediately after shaking hands with the president.
